The Bermuda School Of Russian Ballet teaches classical ballet to children as young as four, and offers classes for adults of all ages.

Affiliated with a number of overseas groups including the Legat Foundation, The American Society of Russian Ballet, The London Society of Russian Ballet, and the International Dance Council (CID), we supplement our training with Modern dance once the students have had good basic training in ballet.

History:

The Bermuda School of Russian Ballet was founded by Madame Patricia Deane-Gray in the early 1950’s. As a Bermudian, Madame Gray received her early training on the Island, and then went to the Legat School in England where she met Madame Ana Roje. This started a long relationship which resulted in the formation of the school here in Bermuda.

Both Coral Waddell and Katina Woodley are among many that were fortunate to grow up through the school before attending further dance training abroad. The school has been known for producing some of the best classical dancers on the Island.
