Prior to her medical training, Tamar completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa. During her undergraduate degree, while dealing with her own health concerns, she began searching for lasting solutions which addressed the root cause of illness and discovered the healing power of naturopathic medicine. She went on to complete 4 years of intensive medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Tamar is passionate about helping her patients regain their health and providing them with tools for lifelong wellness. She is dedicated to continuous learning in order to provide patients with safe and effective naturopathic therapies. She is certified in FirstLine Therapy and has pursued additional training in many disciplines including digestive disorders, endocrinology, oncology, pediatrics, and environmental medicine. While maintaining a general family practice, she has a special interest in dermatology, women’s health, and chronic pain management. Tamar is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
