Elm Cottage was built by Mr Priest in 1920, it has survived the 1931 Napier earthquake. Over the years two and a half rooms have been added and it is said to once have had a family of 6 children living in the cottage. In December 2011 it was purchased by the Williams family trust. The family are now renovating the cottage from rundown and overgrown back to its former glory. This site has been created so people can follow the progress
