Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Course - the Jones layout is the more challenging of Rock Barn's courses and is truly a championship course. It takes full advantage of the terrain as well as Lyle Creek, which meanders throughout the property. Each hole has its own unique chatacteristics, which requires focus and deliberation. Since the Jones Course opened in 2002 it ahas been named America's 4th best course in its category by Golf Digest. The Jones Course was also awarded best new course in the state by North Carolina Magazine.

The Jackson Course is the shorter less demanding of the two award-winning courses, but still offers a challenging game of golf. It features a number of elevation changes, and demands that you put emphasis on positioning the ball in the fairway. This signature course appeals to golfers of all levels and handicaps offering a selection of tees to provide a suitable length for all - stretching out to over 6,500 yards. The Jackson Course is truly a great golf experience, earning a rating of 4.5 stars out of a possible 5 by Golf Digest.
