DANIEL PRETENDS EAGLE LMT #6825

East meets West in my practice, which combines hands-on deep tissue work with energetic elements from my experience in Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Oriental medicine. I incorporate elements into my practice such as moxa (incense sticks made from medicinal herbs which facilitate the flow of energy when used on acupressure points) and sound vibration to open up the meridians and free the flow of qi. That, combined with the lengthening achieved by myofascial techniques, creates the spaciousness in mind, body and soul that allows each client’s innate wisdom to begin the process of self healing. I'm not trying to “fix” something or impose my own concept of structural integrity upon a client. My goal is to assist the client in cultivating the inherent physical, mental and spiritual balance that each of us uniquely possess. As a result, I’ve been able to help clients successfully manage chronic pain, recover from injury and experience deep and lasting relaxation.

TIFFANY JAMA LMT #7925

If there is anything I can claim I've done almost my entire life, it's bodywork. My father read me an article about foot massage in the 80s and that was all I needed to start massaging his size 13 feet nightly. This evolved into hour-long full-body massages for $2.00. I became a licensed massage therapist in Texas in 1998 straight out of high school and worked at American Pain Management alongside medical doctors locating trigger points and treating pain patterns.
I have explored and studied a wide range of modalities over the years and feel if there is one specialty I have, it is versatility. I have furthered my studies to include neuro-muscular massage (medical massage), reflexology, myofascial release and healing touch. I work with a wide variety of clients including those with Parkinson's disease and those recovering from surgery.
I have been in extreme pain from a back injury and gone through my own personal journey of healing (it will continue). I know what it's like to be in pain and to feel as though your entire reality has been ripped away. My compassion for human beings has deepened from this experience and taught me a lot about trauma and how it is stored and released from the body. I am currently enrolled in a three year Biodynamic Craniosacral study showing me further how beyond amazing the human body is, and how immense our capacity for healing is.
I am on this journey with you.

IRENA LERMAN, APITHERAPIST

I am a certified apitherapist, herbalist, Shamballa master, and electromagnetic field specialist. Although the healing modalities I pursue are rooted in knowledge of eastern European ancient and modern healers, they overlap with other cultures. My training includes teachings of B. Kafka (Czech spiritist and researcher, author of "New principles of experimental psychology"), MUDr. J. Jonas (Czech electroacupuncturist and specialist in systematic detoxification), and Dr. V. Terc- descendant of Czech physician Phillip Terc (the founder of modern Apitherapy). Before I relocated to Taos, I pursued my specialty in Eastern Europe, Middle East, Asia, and South America. Despite the cultural differences, the traditional practices (treatments of ailments, and knowledge handed on from generation to generation) overlap. Healer doesn’t own knowledge; he merely taps into what exists. The Apitherapy treatment, which includes Bee Venom Therapy (BVT), incorporates understanding of: a) external and internal causes and signs of health disruption, b) nerve fibers network, c) cells’ structural and biological function, d) immune, hormonal, endocrine, and lymph system operation, e) pathogenity of viruses, bacteria, and parasites. BVT is efficient when treating acute, autoimmune, chronic, mental, degenerative, and neurological diseases such as: arthritis, Lyme, fibromyalgia, cancer, Alzheimer, Parkinson, chronic fatigue, MS, bursitis, tinnitus, asthma, bronchitis, angina, lupus, eczema, acne, diabetes, sinus infections, allergies, depression.
