WHAT IS A FLOWER ESSENCE? Different from essential oils and herbal extractions, flower essences were originally discovered and formulated by Dr. Bach in 1938 England. A flower essence is an herbal infusion or decoction which captures the unique energetic essence and properties of the plant. When consumed by humans or animals, both scientific and anecdotal evidence tell us that each flower has a distinctive fingerprint, providing subtle yet profound influences on mental and emotional well-being.

We believe in living what we teach- FES' business and employees are surrounded by 27 acres of certified Biodynamic, Organic farms that we call Terra Flora Gardens. Here we cultivate hundreds of species of flowers, trees, medicinal herbs and edibles alongside sheep, chickens, birds, cats, deer, turkeys, ducks, turtles, humans and many other creatures. We do our best to live in harmony with the natural systems of earth and find this to be a rewarding way of approaching life. Our Facebook page is a rare peek into the inner workings of a few of these systems at Terra Flora.
