Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Joanne and I am a fully qualified and insured medical herbalist, I have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Herbal Medicine and am a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, the oldest professional regulating body for herbalists in the UK.
Herbal medicine is a holistic therapy, so I work on the whole person and treat the individual and not just the symptoms. My diagnostic techniques would be similar to your GP, so I take blood pressure, check your pulse and refer for further medical tests where required. The prescription is very different however as I use herbal extracts in liquid tincture form and the prescription is tailor made specifically for you: no two patients have ever had the same mix from me, even if their presenting problem may at first appear the same. We are all so unique and so is the way in which I treat my patients, this bespoke treatment plan means that we work on the underlying causes and aim to put right your health and restore wellbeing.
