Personal training, small group training and local running sessions in Sherborne and the surrounding area. We welcome all abilities.
Our Running Club is led by a qualified personal trainer and the sessions are designed to improve your performance while having fun at the same time. We run sessions which range from a gentle run at a constant pace to specific sessions to improve speed and stamina such as interval and hill training. We also use the "out and back method" so our faster members and slower members are challenged equally.
We typically run around 8km but the faster runners will run further using the above method. In the winter we run on the roads but as soon as the evenings get lighter we like to get out of Sherborne into the fantastic surrounding countryside. This is typically off road so we run on multi-terrain surfaces.
Training sessions are held every Tuesday evening and we meet at about 18:00 ready to start at 18:15. The sessions last 1 hour.
We meet at a pre-determined place each week which is agreed by the members the previous week.
The cost of membership is £20 per quarter.
