Yoga with Jen Avery E-RYT 200 / RYT 500. After 15 years living in Montana, she is back in her home state of Vermont. She teaches Hatha and Vinyasa, but finds the most benefits in slow and restorative classes that focus on breath and mindfulness.




Jen Avery earned her RYT in 2013 in Costa Rica, completed 1000 hours of teaching for E-RYT 200 in 2016 and attended her RYT 500 in 2017 in Rishikesh, India. She teaches Vinyasa and Hatha, with a focus on decompressing the nervous system through breath and mindfulness.

She opened Yoga Stone in Big Sky, Montana in 2014 until 2017, when she and her husband moved back to her home state of Vermont. Her teaching style stresses asana alignment for strong and engaged poses to protect the body, while softness is encouraged to go deeper into your practice and still the fluxuations of the mind.

Jen also earned her Bachelor's in Business Management with a minor in Political Science from Montana State University in Bozeman in 2007, as well as a Master's of Public Administration in 2013. She is a Nationally Registered EMT, Reiki II Practioner and mom of three rescue dogs.
