Middlesboro Dance Academy

We offer dance classes to children ages 2-and up

Middlesboro Dance Academy offers ballet and hip hop for children ages 2-18. At The Middlesboro Dance Academy, our program is more then just dance lessons. We play games, make crafts and do activities that are dance related to help the children learn and have fun at the same time . At the end of the semester each child receives a trophy and we have a party to celebrate the students hard work, dedication and achievements.
We plan to participate and perform in festivals, parades, and other local events . The Middlesboro Dance Academy will have an end of the semester big recital in August. MDA is owned and operated by Tonya Michael. She is a certified and trained dance instructor. She has been working with children since 2012 . Tonya opened MDA in 2014 and since then has also been hired by local schools for choreography and dance camps. MDA has taught over 75 children in our area. Our classes are structured yet flexible and fun ! Our dance program helps develop physical skills and promotes imagination and creativity. Our goal is to provide dance education by helping Children to learn basic dance techniques, coordination, classroom, and listening skills and gain self confidence through dance!
